It `finished' her, gave her a polished elegance, joining the fractured sides of her together. It was astonishing how she added so much to his composition; how the very fact of her fuelled his imagination."
I was fascinated by the creative process and how easily Eva described it to a child: "It's called enfleurage. We will gently extract the perfume oil from the blooms by pressing them into the tallow. Then we can make it into a pomade."

Fear of colonoscopy kept me from seeing a doctor and therefore suffering longer than necessary which was silly, because when I finally saw a doctor he immediately diagnosed IBS - no colonoscopy required.
My doctor suggested a gradual approach & recommended I start with fiber supplements (Citrucel to be exact) and a medication to help with sudden flare-ups. When that didn't provide nearly as much relief as I had hoped for he said it might be as good as it gets, so I asked about other possible treatments he had mentioned during my initial consultation and only then did he recommend Align, siting it over other brands because of its ingredients.
Taking Align sporadically doesn't work. I know, because it took me three weeks to get through a week's worth of capsules. I am always trying to find the "cool" spot on a pillow. Recently, my husband was again complaining that his neck was stiff each morning when he awoke and hurt all day. We decided to try "mypillow." Once it arrived, you have to put it in the dryer for 15 minutes before using. The morning after the first night he used it he was amazed that his neck didn't hurt at all! Neither did mine and I found I didn't toss and turn all night looking for a comfortable or cool pillow placement. We love this thing and it was worth the price. By the way, it really isn't that pricey. With the "mypillow" code discount, the price is about what you would pay for a decent pillow in the store.
- Dottie - Loved the Voyager (OutlanderI spent time in Scotland this summer, which made me want to read novels with Scotland as a setting. The Voyager(Outlander) fit that need. This book and the series that follows was recommended to me by one of my tennis partners. In the process I have learned that others in my group have read the series and loved it as well.
I will be reading the rest of the Outlander series.
